Rare Zaha Hadid Designs Grace a Beverly Hills Home Listed for $36.5M

A unique property has made its way onto the LA real estate market, newly listed for $36.5 million. While the talented, late Zaha Hadid didn’t design the home herself, as she only designed one house in her lifetime, it is infused with her creations. Perched high in Beverly Hills, this home is a true rarity that keeps Hadid’s legacy alive.

The custom-built mansion was designed by Richard Landry, who was able to bring in a handful of elements made by Hadid before her passing. The foyer’s suave wall installation is from Hadid’s first collaboration with a marble company. Only two others like it are in existence as the genius architect only created three of each style. The value of this piece will continue to rise with time, as will the value of the house. The sleek abode also holds an innovative and geometric mercuric table set she designed.

Filled with other perks as well, the 12,434-square-foot modern is perfect for entertaining on a large scale. A spacious living room opens to an outdoor lounge and dining area, for an effortlessly fluid feel. Boasting resort-like vibes, the estate includes multiple fireplaces, an expansive balcony spanning the entire second floor, a chic wine cellar and lounge, a theater and a serene spa room with a jacuzzi and sauna.

Outside, an infinity pool overlooks scenic views of Los Angeles’ beautiful hills and an intimate botanical walking path. The six-bedroom, nine bath home sits on almost an acre of lush land and is truly a gem inside and out.

Sally Forster Jones and Shauna Walters of Compass holds this one-of-a-kind listing.
