Marilyn Monroe only owned one home in her lifetime, but graced many with her presence, from LA to the Hamptons. So, when a property connected to the movie star hits the market, people take note. At this newly listed Spanish-style home in Sherman Oaks, she even left enough of an impact to inspire its unofficial name, Villa Monroe.

Famous bandleader Ray Anthony was the owner in the 1950s and the story goes that Monroe allegedly lived there while dating him. Whether that is fact or legend, a glitzy party was definitely thrown there in her honor in 1952 and Anthony created the romantic song “Marilyn” for her as well. However, the home’s celebrity pedigree doesn’t end there. It has a long list of big names who have stopped by, including Sharon Stone, Tanya Tucker, and Mick Fleetwood. Now, this piece of Hollywood history is up for grabs for $5.475 million.

Boasting expansive patios, a pool, and a grand living space inside with an entertainer’s bar, its no wonder A-listers enjoyed gathering here. Outside, a wide brick staircase leading down to the pool is perfect for making a grand entrance, too.
