Architectural Gem on One Acre in L.A.’s Hollywood Hills

The great room in this new 11,000-square-foot house has 30-foot ceilings

Nestled in the Hollywood Hills is a unique six-bedroom, 11,000-square-foot mansion that seems to float over Los Angeles.

“It is one of the most monumental properties in L.A. because it sits on an about-an-acre promontory above the city. You’re above Sunset Boulevard, yet you’re so secluded and far away,” Tomer Fridman of Compass told Fox Nation and Mansion Global. Mr. Fridman is marketing the property along with Sally Forster Jones, who marvels at the screening room—this is Hollywood after all. “The theater room is private, it’s cozy, it’s dark… it’s a very different feel than the rest of the house,” she said.

“The house is conceived with three gables, so you have these three incredible roofline pitches,” Mr. Fridman said. Among the house’s amazing features is a great room with a 30-foot ceiling.

The owner of the house, which is asking $32 million, will be the first to live there.
